| It lives in Canada, United States and Mexico.the male has a stable colouration between the indigo blue and the dark blue covering the head, the back and the upper part of the wings; the chest has a brownish red plumage, whilst the remaining part of the body is white. The females have a paler colouration, of grey colour on the head and on the back and some blue on the wings and on the tail, with the chest of orange colour. Dimensions: 16-21 cm. Wingspan: 20-23 cm. | |||||
